" In response.. is Elijah progressing? "
By the numbers:

2005 - QB Rating 75.9, 235 yards/game, 24 TDs and 17 INTs
2006 - QB Rating 77.0, 202 yards/game, 24 TDs and 18 INTs
2008 (pace) - QB Rating 79.5, 198 yards/game, 26 TDs, 18 INTs

In short, my answer would be.. not really. He has consistantly been a slightly above average QB over the past three years. There is moderate credence to the idea that aside from the numbers above, he's a "gamer", a "clutch" QB, whatever you want to call it. Consider that his QB Rating in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter over his career is a combined 72.3 - a number that jumps to 79.5 in the 4th quarter (additionally, 21 of his 67 career TD passes have come in the final 15.)

So, has he been making huge strides? No. But he's played well enough that, surrounded by a decent supporting cast, I'm convinced he can take us to a Super Bowl.

(If he will be possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll I thankful, bye friend).

as far as the guy above me - delete his comment.

Is Eli progressing - NO!!! He is, who we know he is.

He's a good QB in qtrs 1 & 2. When the game picks up in 3rd & 4th he stays stuck in that slow southern drawal of a tempo.

Should've kept Kerry Collins or went with Ben Roth. (should've would've could've).

In addition to Eli let down, I thought the D-Coordinator let the team down - stopped blitzing and thats what gave Romo time.

1 positive - Coughlin remembers that Shockey is a reciever.

even when they were blitzing, they weren't getting to romo. as far as eli, i'm satisfied with what he's become and believe that he still has a little bit of upward potential left.

In further response to Eli - he is not progressing!!!

No way.

The Giants would have been better keeping kerry collins and trading away their pick for more draft picks later.

How many times do we have to watch this guy under throw his WRs??? The recievers are open, he hits them late, makes them cut the route short, or just misses them all together -- -- awful! He's playing like a rookie 4 years in. Cut the guy and go pick up a vet. Hard to believe we passed on Ben Roeth for this kid. Pitiful!!!!
